  • Job Description

    ・Oversee and manage all administrative operations of the Malaysia Branch
    ・Handle accounting and finance matters, including budgeting, bookkeeping, monthly and yearly closing, and liaison with auditors and tax agents
    ・Support the Japanese Managing Director in operational, administrative, and financial matters
    ・Coordinate and liaise with headquarters in Japan, ensuring smooth communication and reporting
    ・Prepare various reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including financial summaries, operational updates, and performance analyses
    ・Manage office policies, procedures, and compliance with local regulations
    ・Handle vendor management, contracts, procurement processes, and cost control
    ・Assist in HR-related matters, including recruitment, payroll coordination, and employee welfare

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    ■ MUST REQUIREMENT
    ・Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in full-spectrum Accounting and Finance
    ・Proven track record in Project-based Accounting (e.g., Construction, Engineering, or Oil & Gas)
    ・Deep understanding of Progress Claims, Certified Work-Done, and managing Progressive Payments

    ■ ADVANTAGE
    ・Proficiency in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing) is an advantage
    ・Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
    ・Candidate with experience and knowledge dealing with office administration and HR has advantage
    ・Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for report preparation and data presentation
    ・Knowledge of MFRS 15 (Revenue Recognition for project contracts)
    ・Experience handling Retention Sums and Performance Bonds/Bank Guarantees
    ・Proficiency in project-based accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or specialized ERPs)
