  • Job Description

    • Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain the General Ledger.
    • Prepare monthly closing and financial reports.
    • Perform bank, AP, AR, inventory and other account reconciliations.
    • Prepare journal entries, accruals and other accounting adjustments.
    • Monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
    • Support manufacturing costing and analyse cost variances.
    • Monitor inventory and perform inventory reconciliation.
    • Assist in preparation of budget and forecast.
    • Monitor cash flow and payment activities.
    • Prepare reports and schedules for internal and Group reporting.
    • Support external audit, tax and statutory requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, Company policies and internal controls.
    • Support Malaysia e-Invoice and other applicable statutory requirements.
    • Identify accounting issues and recommend improvements.
    • Any other ad-hoc task assigned from time to time.
    • To ensure RBA, Supplier Code of Conducts requirements are being met.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    • Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
    • Manufacturing experience is preferred.
    • Experience in full-set accounting and month-end closing.
    • Good knowledge of accounting principles and MFRS/IFRS.
    • Experience in costing and inventory accounting is an advantage.
    • Good Excel and ERP/accounting system skills.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA is an advantage.
