  • Job Description

    ・Budgeting & Forecasting
    - Lead the preparation of annual budgets and mid-term business plans for Malaysia, Singapore, and India entities.
    - Manage the quarterly and monthly forecasting process and improve forecast accuracy.

    ・Performance Analysis & Reporting
    - Conduct variance analysis of monthly performance (vs. budget and vs. prior year) across the three countries and identify key drivers.
    - Analyze profitability by business unit, product, and service categories.

    ・Business Partnering
    - Collaborate with business leaders in each country to provide financial insights, support issue resolution, and identify growth opportunities.
    - Conduct profitability analysis and make recommendations on new projects, capital investments, and pricing strategies.

    ・Process Improvement
    - Drive standardization and efficiency of FP&A reporting across the region.
    - Strengthen analytical capabilities by utilizing BI tools and other systems

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    ■ MUST REQUIREMENTS
    ・Business-level Japanese (for smooth communication with the parent company) - JLPT N2 or above
    ・Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting or finance experience.
    ・At least 3 years of hands-on FP&A experience (budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, etc.).
    ・Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
    ・PC Skills: Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros).

    ■ ADVANTAGES
    ・Accounting/finance experience in logistics, warehousing, trading, or wholesale industry.
    ・FP&A experience covering multiple countries/regions.
    ・Experience working in a Japanese company or reporting to a Japanese parent company.
    ・Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
    ・Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
    ・Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA.
    ・Knowledge or work experience related to the Singapore or India markets.
