  • Job Description

    1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for manufacturing, technical/engineering, sales, and IT roles.
    • Work with line managers on manpower planning, job descriptions, and candidate selection.
    • Build a strong talent pool for future needs across subsidiaries.

    2. Employee Relations & Engagement
    • Serve as the first point of contact for employee issues, grievances, and welfare matters.
    • Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the Group’s values of safety, innovation, collaboration, and integrity.
    • Organize staff engagement programs, team-building, and CSR activities.

    3. Performance Management & Development
    • Coordinate performance appraisal exercises and support HODs in KPI setting and evaluation.
    • Identify training needs and arrange relevant development programs (technical, soft skills, and digital upskilling).
    • Support career development initiatives and succession planning.

    4. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
    • Administer payroll and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, PCB).
    • Manage leave administration, insurance, and employee benefits.
    • Support salary benchmarking and recommend improvements to maintain competitiveness.

    5. HR Policy, Compliance & Industrial Relations
    • Implement and maintain HR policies in line with Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other statutory laws.
    • Assist in handling disciplinary issues, warnings, and domestic inquiries when required.
    • Liaise with government authorities and external agencies on HR and IR matters.

    6. Government Incentives & Employee Benefits
    • Actively monitor and evaluate government programs, grants, subsidies, and incentives (HRD Corp, PERKESO, LHDN, MDEC, TalentCorp) that benefit employees or the company.
    • Ensure timely submission of applications for eligible schemes (training grants, wage subsidies, tax incentives).
    • Keep management and staff informed of available programs and ensure compliance with requirements.

    7. HR Administration & Digitalization
    • Maintain up-to-date employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
    • Support HR digitalization initiatives, including HRMS/HRIS, payroll automation, and performance tracking tools.
    • Prepare HR reports and updates for management review.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    <Requirement>
    • Min. Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing & trading sector.
    • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, industrial relations, and HR best practices.

    <Advantageous>
    • Experience in multi-entity HR operations is an advantage.
    • Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia
    • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
    • Proficiency in HRIS/HRMS, payroll software, and Microsoft Office.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to balance group-level policies with subsidiary-specific needs.
    • Proactive in monitoring government initiatives and employee welfare programs.
    • Adaptable and able to manage HR functions across multiple industries.
    • Good interpersonal skills, able to engage with all levels of employees and management.
    • Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
