Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in payroll administration, labour law compliance, and work permit processing, preferably within a service or multi-outlet environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Payroll processing, salary adjustments (increases and deductions), and all related statutory filings including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and Income Tax (PCB) for approximately 100 employees
- End-to-end staff recruitment and offboarding, including job posting management and liaison with recruitment agencies
- Foreign worker work permit applications and renewals
Admin and Operations
- Lease contract management for all salon branches and offices
- Renewal and maintenance of licences and trademarks
- Cost monitoring and budget planning across all branches
- Contract management and renewal with all trade and brand partners
Qualifications
Requirement
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 3–5 years of relevant HR and payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
- Good understanding of Malaysian Employment Act and labour regulations
- Hands-on experience in work permit and visa application processing
- High level of accuracy, discretion, and reliability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in service industry or multi-outlet environment is an added advantage
- Able to work independently and manage deadlines effectivelyEnglish Level
