  • Job Description

    We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Channel Business Development Manager to expand and manage our distribution network across Malaysia. You will be responsible for identifying new channel partners, nurturing existing relationships, and driving revenue through our security products portfolio including biometric access control, time attendance systems, turnstiles, and more.

    1. Channel Development & Management
    • Identify and onboard new channel partners (distributors, resellers, system integrators).
    • Build long-term strategic relationships with key partners.
    • Execute channel expansion plans aligned with company targets.

    2. Sales & Revenue Achievement
    • Achieve monthly and quarterly channel sales targets.
    • Drive sell-in and sell-through in key accounts and monitor channel stock levels.
    • Forecast and manage partner sales pipelines.

    3. Market Intelligence
    • Monitor competitor activities within the channel ecosystem.
    • Analyze pricing, promotions, and distribution strategies.
    • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams for localization.

    4. Partner Enablement
    • Provide sales and product training to channel partners.
    • Support partners with marketing materials, demo units, and technical resources.
    • Organize partner events, roadshows, and workshops.

    5. Reporting & CRM
    • Maintain accurate records of partner profiles, interactions, and sales data.
    • Submit weekly/monthly reports on performance and opportunities.
    • Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, follow-ups, and conversion.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    <Requirement>

    • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related fields.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in channel sales or business development in security/IT/automation industry.
    • Familiarity with distribution and SI networks in Malaysia.
    • Willing to travel locally as needed.

    <Advantageous>

    • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
    • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Self-driven, team player, able to work independently and under pressure.
