To develop and maintain professional relationships with all peers and subordinates within the group, in order to
understand and advance their human capital needs.
To advise all levels within the group on organizational policy matters as well as industrial relations policies. To follow
through with recommendations and implementation of required changes to the policies and/or behavioral actions of all
stakeholders. To provide guidance on process improvements where possible.
To serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts
and assisting in the resolution of work-related problems.
To ensure that the Human Resource Executives in the team, processes payroll in a timely manner and with accuracy and to
improve on the current processes payroll processing process if deemed necessary.
To ensure that the HR Standard Operating Procedures are practiced by all HR personnel and employees diligently. To
advise on improvements which can be made the SOPs and follow through with implementation.
To analyze and suggest improvements to the current Compensation & Benefíts policies in order to establish competitive
programs as well as to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
To plan and implement, a Performance Appraisal and Performance Management process tailored to Job Descriptions, in
order to identify ’STAR’ employees and to improve on overall performance of the group.
To plan and implement a Talent Management Program for ‘STAR’ employees, leading into career progression pathways
within the group.
To plan and implement a Training Needs Analysis Program for in order to identify and fill gaps in competencies and skills
within an individual, team or department. To follow through with Training & Development Programs, and comparisons of
performance outputs against baseline performance.
Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation,
labour relations, and employee relations.
Conduct exit interviews and provide reports based on information in order to evaluate contributing factors to employees
Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance
appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
To handle and resolve employee complaints & grievances, to referee & settle disputes of the employee relations nature. To
represent the group at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
Perform staffing duties, including overseeing and managing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, terminating
employees, and administering disciplinary procedures according to the current Malaysian Employment Act.
Identify staff vacancies, perform second level interviews, and shortlist suitable candidates for the hiring manager.
To represent the organization at personnel related hearings & investigation.
To plan and implement Employee Engagement & Recreational Programs which will benefit the mental and physical health
of employees within the group as well as to foster positive attitude towards the groups’ organizational objectives.
- Education Background : Degree/Masters in Human Resource Management
- Experience : 3 years of experience and above working as Human Resource Manager
- Cert/ Skills:
*Communication skills in English and Bahasa, both written and verbal is important as the role will be in high contact with all senior managers and employees.
*Leadership skills as it is a leadership role overseeing the development and welfare of 312 employees as well as leading the 5 team members within the HR department
