Job Description
1. Accounting & Administration Management
- Oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations (GL, AP, AR) and cash flow management. Manage external accounti ng firms to ensure timely monthly closing and reporting to Japan HQ.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations, specifically SST (Sales and Service Tax), Corporate Tax, and withholding tax.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers.
- Pre pare budgets and variance analysis for the management team.
2. HR & Payroll Administration
- Work with consulting agency to manage monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Draft employment contracts and employee handbooks in compliance with the Malaysian Employment Act.
- Manage employee onboarding/offboarding processes.
3. Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
- Act as the key liaison with 3PL (Third Party Logistics) partners and Forwarders.

4. General Administration & Vendor Management
- Manage office setup and general office administration.
- Liaise with the Company Secretary to ensure compliance with SSM (Companies Commission of Malaysia) requirements.
- Manage contracts and relationships with various vendors (IT support, insurance, facilities, etc.).
- Support the General Manager in ad hoc projects related to the store opening.
Qualifications
Requirement
【Must】
- At least 5 years of practical experience in accounting.
- Having management experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to handle payment processing via Internet Banking.
[Advantage]
- Solid knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law and Customs procedures.
- Practical accounting experience in the Retail or FMCG industry.
- Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 level or above).
- Experience in a startup environment or new office setup.
- Professional accounting certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA).English Level

Benefit
- Salary: RM8,000 ~ RM10,000
- Work time: Mon to Fri
8 working hours per day.
*We have a flexi-time system, so as long as you work 8 hours a day, the start and end times are flexible.
