• Job Description

  We are looking for a customer-oriented and technically inclined Japanese-Speaking Sales Engineer to support Japanese clients, partners, and distributors. This role requires someone who can communicate fluently in Japanese, build strong customer relationships, understand technical product features, and provide pre- and post-sales support.
  The ideal candidate can bridge communication between the company and Japanese stakeholders, ensuring smooth sales processes and excellent customer experience.
  
  Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Management (China and Japan Market / Chinese and Japanese Clients)
  • Serve as the primary contact point for Chinese and Japanese-speaking customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Handle enquiries, product information requests, quotations, and issue resolutions in Japanese.
  • Build long-term relationships with Japanese clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Support the Director during meetings, calls, and presentations with Japanese-speaking clients.
  
  2. Technical Product Expertise
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s products (motorcycle chains, parts, accessories, technical products).
  • Provide technical explanations, product recommendations, and application solutions to customers.
  • Conduct product demos, training sessions, or presentations when required.
  
  3. Sales Activities & Business Development
  • Identify new business opportunities in China and Japan-related customer segments.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, costings, and tender submissions.
  • Support the sales team in meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitor activities and customer needs.
  
  4. Internal Coordination
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (sales, warehouse, logistics, purchasing).
  • Ensure smooth processing of sales orders for Japanese customers.
  • Assist in translating technical documents, reports, or product materials.
  
  5. Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales pipelines, and order status.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management review.
  • Support in China and Japanese-related projects, events, or audits when needed.
