• Job Description

  1. Quality Assurance
  - Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and applicable quality standards.
  - Support laboratory team in managing ISO 17025
  - Drive continuous improvement in product quality, process reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  - Manage internal and external audits, customer complaints, non-conformities, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  - Monitor quality performance, analyse trends, and implement improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  - Ensure compliance with customer requirements, corporate quality standards, and applicable regulations.
  
  2. Sustainability & Environmental Management
  - Develop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with company objectives and corporate requirements.
  - Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and maintain relevant environmental management systems.
  - Monitor environmental performance, including energy consumption, waste management, resource efficiency, and sustainability reporting.
  - Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact, improve resource utilisation, and promote sustainable practices.
  
  3. Building & Facilities Maintenance
  - Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of factory premises, building infrastructure, utilities, and facilities.
  - Establish preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to ensure operational reliability and minimise downtime.
  - Manage contractors, service providers, maintenance budgets, and facilities improvement projects.
  - Ensure statutory inspections, certifications, safety requirements, and maintenance records are properly managed.
  - Coordinate building repairs, renovation works, and infrastructure upgrades to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  
  4. Leadership & Management
  - Lead and develop the team, establish departmental KPIs, and monitor performance.
  - Manage departmental budgets, resources, and improvement projects effectively.
  - Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues and achieve business objectives.
  - Provide regular management reports on quality performance, sustainability initiatives, facilities condition, and cost optimisation.
