Job ObjectiveTo establish and optimize assembly processes to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, quality, and process yield while reducing operational costs.Key Responsibilities• Establish and maintain manufacturing line layouts and workflow for assembly products.• Calculate and analyse process cycle time, capacity, and throughput.• Calculate assembly and manufacturing costs.• Analyse existing processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities.• Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and liaise with R&D engineers and Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to introduce new designs into mass production.• Monitor process yield charts and implement improvement activities to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.• Participate in design reviews, process validation, and product validation activities.• Work closely with Supplier, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure the completion and implementation of Quality Control Plans, Flow Plans, Work Instructions, PFMEA, CPK, SPC, and other required certifications.• Support Material Planning and Production Planning teams.• Conduct periodic employee performance evaluations, communicate strengths and areas for improvement, and recommend appropriate development or merit adjustments.• Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain high product quality standards.• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing standards.• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.• Ensure production line personnel are properly trained, certified, and performing according to established standards.• Ensure compliance with company Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
