Job Description
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the chemical industry through targeted market research, industry networking, and direct client engagement.
• Develop and execute territory growth strategies to capture market share and establish the company as a preferred supplier.
• Establish annual and quarterly sales targets in alignment with organizational growth objectives.
• Develop accurate sales forecasts and growth projections based on market analysis, customer intelligence, and competitive positioning.
• Initiate and maintain professional relationships with prospective and existing clients, serving as a trusted point of contact for chemical supply needs.
• Lead contract negotiations with a focus on securing long-term agreements and maximizing commercial value.
• Partner with internal teams including supply chain, technical services, and marketing to develop effective sales strategies and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Provide market feedback to inform pricing strategies, product positioning, and inventory planning.
• Prepare financial projections, pricing models, and sales budgets to support strategic decision-making.
• Deliver regular sales reports and performance updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, market trends, and areas for growth.
• Deliver professional sales presentations to key decision-makers, clearly articulating value propositions and technical differentiators.
Qualifications
Requirement
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Science, Electronic, Engineering, Semiconductor or any related field.
• At least 2-3 years of sales and marketing or business development experience in chemical, electronics, semiconductor will be added value.
• Experience in planning and executing a 1 and 5-year business plan, managing product launches and campaigns.
• Able to work independently in a complex environment with minimum supervision, result-oriented personality.
• Special skills: a solid technical background, sales skills, communication skills, sound judgement and good business sense, organizational skills, team working ability, the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively, analytical and problem-solving skills, resilience and tenacity, independence and self-reliance and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, forecasting, and sales reporting.
Added Advantage:
• Experience in the chemical/materials/polymer trading or high-tech manufacturing sector.
• Familiarity with B2B technical sales.English Level
