  • Job Description

    • Design and develop scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs.
    • Build and maintain server-side application logic.
    • Integrate with databases, third-party services, and external systems.
    • Optimize system performance, scalability, and security.
    • Design and maintain database schemas and ensure data integrity.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues in development and production environments.
    • Participate in system architecture design and technical documentation.
    • Collaborate with frontend developers, system analysts, and cross-functional teams.
    • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    <Must>
    • Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience
    • Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI (or similar async Python frameworks such as Django REST or Flask)
    • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, C#, Python, Golang
    • Design and implement robust backend logic and task queues (Celery/Dramatiq)
    • Solid experience in RESTful API design, including versioning, documentation (Swagger), and best practices
    • Experience designing and managing relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
    • Understanding of authentication and authorisation mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2)

    • Familiarity and hands-on experience with version control tools (Git)
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for deployment and infrastructure
    • Experience with containerisation using Docker and basic CI/CD pipelines
    • Strong understanding of data security and privacy compliance
    • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
    • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
