  • Job Description

    • Build and maintain mobile application features using Flutter and Dart for both Android and iOS, with state management solution
    • Translate UI/UX designs from Figma into responsive, pixel-accurate Flutter screens, accurately implementing interaction specs and animation guidelines provided by the UI/UX Designer
    • Collaborate closely with the UI/UX Designer by attending design reviews, providing technical feasibility input, and bridging the gap between design intent and technical execution
    • Implement high-quality animations and micro-interactions
    • Integrate RESTful APIs provided by the Backend Engineer, handling data fetching, error states, and loading experiences to ensure a seamless end-user experience
    • Write clean, readable, and testable code following established coding standards and best practices
    • Debug and resolve issues across Android and iOS, including platform-specific quirks and rendering inconsistencies
    • Prepare and maintain release builds for both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
    • Proficiency in version control using Git — including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews via platforms such as GitHub
    • Take ownership of testing by independently identifying, reproducing, and resolving bugs across Android and iOS

Qualifications

    <Must>
    • Minimum 3 years of professional mobile development experience with Flutter and Dart
    • Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart, with hands-on experience building and shipping production apps on both iOS and Android • Solid experience with state management, routing, and dependency injection
    • Proven ability to translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive Flutter UIs — including component structures, spacing, and typography fidelity
    • Proficiency in Flutter's core animation framework — AnimationController, Tween, implicit and explicit animations, and physics-based animations
    • Solid experience with RESTful API integration, including handling authentication, error states, and loading flows
    • Familiarity with CustomPainter for custom animated UI elements such as progress rings and data visualisation components
    • Understanding of iOS and Android platform differences and ability to handle platform-specific behaviours and quirks
    • Experience with app release processes for both Google Play Store and Apple App Store (build preparation, versioning, signing)
    • Proficiency in version control using Git — including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews via platforms such as GitHub or GitLab
    • QA to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs systematically
    • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and managing delivery within project timelines

    • Experience with camera or image processing features in Flutter (relevant to beauty app functionality)
    • Hands-on experience integrating Rive animations for interactive character and motion effects
    • Experience implementing Lottie files in Flutter for celebrations, badge reveals, and reward sequences
    • Familiarity with push notifications (APNs, FCM), analytics, or crash reporting
    • Knowledge of PDPA or GDPR compliance considerations in mobile app development
    • Experience building health, beauty, wellness, or social applications
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated Flutter builds and deployments (e.g. Codemagic, GitHub Actions)
