• Job Description

  This role involves using industrial design expertise to develop new furniture and related products for various clients, including Kokuyo Japan. The position covers the full product realization process, from conceptual design and prototyping to production coordination.
  
  1.Product Design & Concept Development
  Create innovative furniture and product designs, including customization, balancing functionality, aesthetics, and cost considerations.
  
  2.3D/2D CAD & Technical Drawings
  Develop detailed product drawings and perform fit, clearance, and interference checks using CAD tools.
  
  3.Prototype & Testing
  Construct models and samples, and conduct functionality, quality, and consumer appeal testing.
  
  4.Materials & Production Considerations
  Select materials, evaluate production methods, incorporate new technologies, and ensure designs meet safety, ergonomics, and environmental standards.
  
  5.BOM & Documentation Management
  Create and maintain bills of materials (BOM), drawings, design records, and ensure document confidentiality.
  
  6.Cross-Functional Coordination
  Liaise with customers, production, QA, sales, and other departments to ensure smooth product realization and address customer complaints.
