Job Description
• Establish positive relationships with existing business partners to generate additional business.
• Responsible for preparing proposal and provide presentation and briefing.
• Pursuit / Connect / Develop New Business, maintain and grow established clients in targeted industry focus (Electric Utilities, EPC, etc.).
• Attend walkthroughs / onsite meeting as required to assess site condition and develop scope of work.
• Work with sales channel to schedule and visit customer actively to promote and demonstrate product and services. Assist with all technical aspect of sales calls with RFQ interviews, requirements meetings, etc. to increase winning opportunity until deal is closed.
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications and apply codes / standards to develop an optimized customized solution.
• Report on issues, successes, sales forecasting and technical needs. Maintain rolling forecast in internal system.
• Continually review and revise sales channel performance and adapt where change is needed.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management from time to time.

• Min. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Min. 3-5 years working experience in Grid related business especially on 132kV & above of power transformer, GIS, TLA, SA, high voltage primary equipment.
• Fluent and good written English.
• Proactive approach. Good team-work with other Employee and other Group of Companies.
• Good in MS Office, MS Excel, MS PPT functions.
• Able to travel overseas for business trips.

• Learn and apply company standards, relevant codes and company procedures.
• Participate in training programs, knowledge sharing, and internal technical reviews.
• Collaborate closely with Engineers on assigned scopes.
• Record and manage engineering know-how, lessons learned, and technical data in the internal database.
• Strong human relationship skill in engaging with Customers, public relation.
• Statistic skill, Sales pitch to potential Customer.
• Ability with strong focus on performance results, consistently achieving sales target.
• Understand internal business, tax, duty, forex.
• Understand INCOTERMS, Import/ Export logistic requirements, Marine Insurance, internal freight rules and codes.
• Continuous up to date with technology changes in Toshiba, competitors, market/ solutions in the market, domestic and regional statutory and requirements/ laws.
• Able to work effectively in a single contributor role and project team setting given the pressure and complexed business environment.
• Fluent and good in written English & Malay. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
• Good time management, which often involves juggling multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
• Able to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Understand Power generation/ Grid business, Engineering and Commercial knowledge.
• Understand Commercial Terms and Conditions.
• Understand Commercial Risk & Analysis.
