• Job Description

  • Assist in developing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, capacity, and material availability.
  • Monitor production flow to avoid bottlenecks and meet delivery schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Supervise operators, fabricators, welders, and machine technicians on the shop floor.
  • Coordinate with departments such as engineering, design, procurement, and quality control.
  • Ensure manufactured components meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Enforce workplace safety policies and use of PPE.
  • Report and prevent accidents, near-miss incidents, and unsafe practices.
  • Coordinate with stores and purchasing to ensure timely availability of raw materials (sheet metal, fasteners, consumables).
  • Monitor material usage, scrap reduction, and inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of sheets, dies, tools, and fixtures.
  • Work with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance on CNC machines, press brakes, welding equipment, compressors, etc.
  • Minimize unplanned downtime through early detection of equipment issues.
