  Job Purpose:
  The Senior Account Executive (GL) is responsible for managing general ledger activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes. The role prepares financial statements, maintains accounting schedules, performs reconciliations, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The incumbent also supports group consolidation activities, intercompany transactions, fixed asset accounting, and reporting requirements, contributing to the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of the organization's financial management and reporting functions.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  1. General Ledger & Financial Reporting:
  • Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Maintain schedules for accruals, prepayments, and other standard closing items
  • Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
  
  2. Consolidation:
  • Prepare intercompany transaction schedules and eliminations
  • Support group consolidation and reporting
  • Liaise with Group Reporting on consolidation timelines and data requirements
  
  3. Others:
  • Support migration of GL, fixed asset, and reporting data
  • Prepare other reports or analytical work as required
  • Maintain and update fixed asset listing
  • Support other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
