Job Description
This position is responsible for spearheading the expansion of our Outside Group Sales (OGS) business in Malaysia for the Business Development Department team. This critical role will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative sales and growth strategies for new OGS business models. This initiative aligns with the company’s strategic objective to diversify revenue streams beyond traditional automotive related businesses, while significantly enhancing market share and customer satisfaction in this emerging section.
This position plays a pivotal role in identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities within this specific sector. This requires a proactive and strategic approach to sales, emphasizing the cultivation of strong client relationships, a deep understanding of their unique needs and the delivery of tailored material supply solutions.
Reporting
• Perform bi-weekly Business Development progress reporting to management.
• Sales Performance and Sales Funnel reporting.
Compliance
• Ensure compliance with Malaysia’s law, Corporate Governance, Code of Conduct on all operations and decision-making matters.
• Undertake ad-hoc or any other assignment, as and when required by immediate superior and/or the top management.
Qualifications
Requirement
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Business & Trade, Supply Chain
Management or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Sales Promotion or Business Development. Experience in dealing with government agencies for regulation clarification will be an added advantage.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt well and open minded to rapid changes business environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in delivering results and solutions for customers and stakeholders.
• Attention to details and possess good follow through with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, positive mindset and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and articulate own ideas with superiors professionally.
• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office.
• High mobility, willing to travel outstation and overseas as and when required.English Level
