Responsible on measurement equipment and program set up, Inspection Instruction preparation, first article inspection, capability study, measurement system analysis and PPAP packages.- Operate, set up, and maintain OGP (Optical Gaging Products) smart scope, Vision Measurement Systems (VMS), Peel Strength Tester and other relevant tester in the metrology lab.- Develop, modify, and optimize measurement programs to improve inspection efficiency and repeatability.- Guide and provide training to quality technicians and inspectors on inspection methods and criteria.- Coordinate and support investigations involving nonconformances, customer complaints and/or audit findings related to metrology topics. Follow-up on the corrective and improvement actions as required.- Support measurement system verification activities, including Gauge R&R and measurement system analysis (MSA).- Perform dimensional inspection and measurement activities. Prepare test reports and maintain testing records.- Other responsibilities are subject to the arrangement of the immediate superior/managementAuthority:- Make the decision on product inspection criteria.- To quarantine and stop production or shipment when defective products are found.
