We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and take the lead in designing innovative and efficient mechanical systems for industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, materials selection, and system optimization. You will play a key role in the design, analysis, and testing of components and systems, contributing to product development from concept through to final design.Key Responsibilities:• Design Development: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components for industrial applications, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.• Feasibility Studies: Conduct thorough feasibility studies, including material selection, cost analysis, and design testing, to ensure the design meets all technical and financial requirements.• Engineering Calculations & Simulations: Perform engineering calculated simulations (structural, thermal, dynamic) to verify design specifications and to ensure product reliability and performance.• CAD Modeling & Technical Drawings: Use CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) to create 2D and 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical specifications for manufacturing. Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards.• Troubleshooting & Support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during production, working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth operations.• Documentation & Reporting: Assist in maintaining accurate technical documentation, reports, and records to ensure traceability and adherence to project requirements.• Product Testing & Optimization: Participate in product testing to validate performance and contribute to optimization efforts for enhanced functionality and reduced costs.• Material & Component Research: Conduct in-depth material and component research to inform design decisions, selecting appropriate materials for durability, performance, and cost-efficiency.• Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (electrical, process engineers, etc.) to ensure cohesive design and project execution. Work closely with production, quality, and operations teams to meet deadlines and project milestones.• Project Management: Oversee the progression of design and manufacturing processes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
