• Job Description

  Looking for an experienced engineering leader to manage New Product Development, Design Development, Testing & Evaluation, and technical support functions within a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates are hands-on leaders capable of driving innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  
  1. Leadership & Strategic Management
  - Drive achievement of annual departmental objectives, KPIs, and business targets.
  - Lead and manage NPD, DDG, and TET operations.
  - Plan manpower, allocate resources, and develop team capabilities through training and coaching.
  - Ensure effective execution of departmental strategies and improvement plans.
  
  2. Product Development & Project Management
  - Oversee all New Product Development and Design Development projects.
  - Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
  - Coordinate cross-functional activities and provide necessary resources to engineers.
  - Ensure projects meet customer, quality, performance, and commercial requirements.
  
  3. Technical Support & Product Excellence
  - Lead technical support activities for production and product groups.
  - Manage product-related problem solving, product performance improvement, and technical troubleshooting.
  - Support complaint handling, corrective actions, and competitor benchmarking activities.
  - Ensure proper management of SMI and product-related technical documentation.
  
  4. Testing & Evaluation Management
  - Manage Testing & Evaluation Team operations.
  - Ensure testing facilities, equipment, laboratories, and evaluation systems are effectively maintained.
  - Oversee product validation, testing standards, and technical evaluations to support development activities.
  
  5. Quality, Safety & Environmental Compliance
  Ensure all technical activities comply with company management systems and standards, including:
  - ISO 9001 (Quality Management System)
  - ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
  - OHSAS 18000 / Occupational Health & Safety requirements
  - Participate in and support internal system audits.
  - Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
  
  6. Facilities & System Management
  Responsible for maintaining and improving supporting systems including:
  - Laboratory Management
  - Equipment Management
  - Facilities Management
  - Spare Parts Room Management
  - Workshop 5S Implementation
  - Chemical & Hazardous Substance Control
  - Stock Control Management
  
  7. Reporting & Communication
  - Prepare and present monthly progress reports to management.
  - Report project status, technical risks, resource requirements, and improvement opportunities.
  - Work closely with production, quality, sales, and other departments to achieve business objectives.
