  • Job Description

    The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes for Ceramic Substrates and other ceramic parts.
    This role focuses on improving yield, quality, and efficiency while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

    • Design and implement robust processes for Substrates production, including slurry preparation, tape casting, screen printing, grinding, sintering and auto visual.
    • Optimize process parameters to improve product performance and reduce defects.
    • Analyze production data to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions for yield and quality improvement
    • Develop and maintain SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DOE (Design of Experiments) for process stability.
    • Work closely with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to support new product introduction and continuous improvement.
    • Provide technical support for customer audits and inquiries.
    • Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and control plans.
    • Ensure compliance with ISO and other certified standard such as IATF/TS etc

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    <Qualification>

    • Min. Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Materials Science, Chemistry or Engineering, etc.
    • Min. 5+ years of previous working experience in the process engineering area
    • Having experience with material production is preferred
    • Familiar with SPC, DOE, IATF16949, etc.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work in multiple systems

    • Multilingual capability – English, Chinese, Japanese
    • To be stationed at Melaka Factory in Malaysia
    • Able to travel at short notice to Maruwa Japan, customer visit or any other purpose at the request of the company
    • Able to run execute task independently without supervision to maintain and improve the production process to the desired yield level
