Job Description
Summary
Oversee end-to-end product strategy, encompassing menu development, strategic procurement, and cost management.
Lead the establishment of local supply chains and ordering systems to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
• Overall menu planning and management: Formulate annual standard menu plans, develop special products, and plan monthly new products (main products are prepared by the Japan side)
• New product development and presentation: Develop new products using local or overseas ingredients (including proposed pricing)
• Product naming: Mainly for local products; for imported Japanese products, renaming will be carried out if they are difficult for local customers to understand
• Procurement / purchasing negotiations: Conduct purchasing not only for food ingredients but also for non-food items such as equipment, packaging materials, consumables, etc. (office supplies will also be managed initially)
• Price negotiation: Regularly conduct price reduction negotiations for all products, or work to suppress price increases
• Cost management: Adjust portion sizes, etc., based on P&L budget control, and maintain an appropriate balance between customers and the store in line with the above price negotiations
• Warehouse management: Properly maintain inventory levels of both imported and local products stored in warehouses, ensuring no stockouts, deterioration in freshness, or expiry
• Supply chain management: Establish distribution routes for products to reach stores (mainly domestic) and manage logistics to minimize costs
• Establishment and operation of ordering system: Register all product data with IDs, including work-in-progress items, and connect logistics between stores ⇔ vendors ⇔ headquarters
• Work in collaboration with the IT team
• Development and management of subordinates (initially none)
Qualifications
Requirement

- Above diploma degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years and above relevant working experience in similar roles in the F&B industry
- Japanese skill (above N3 level)English Level
