  • Job Description

    Process Optimization:
    - Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes involved in latex compounding, chemical dispersion, extrusion, and drying/vulcanization.
    - Monitor production parameters to ensure consistency and quality of the rubber threads.

    Quality Control:
    - Collaborate with the QA team to maintain product specifications and troubleshoot quality issues.
    - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.

    Research & Development:
    - Innovate and test new formulations to enhance product performance, stability, and cost-efficiency.
    - Evaluate and introduce new raw materials or chemicals as needed.

    Production Support:
    - Provide technical support to production teams for continuous process improvement.
    - Troubleshoot latex / chemical-related production issues and propose solutions.

    Documentation & Reporting:
    - Maintain accurate records of process data, test results, and material usage.
    - Prepare technical reports and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
    - At least 8 years of experience in latex or rubber-based manufacturing (rubber threads, gloves, latex foams, etc)
    - Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry, latex compounding, and process engineering.
    - Familiarity with chemical safety standards and environmental regulations.
    - Proficient in process control systems and laboratory testing methods.
    - Familiarity with thermic oil boilers, industrial ovens, heat recovery, and wastewater treatment systems.
    - Strong leadership and team management skills.
    - Data-driven decision making with focus on efficiency and cost savings.
    - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
    - Willing to be based in Bentong, Pahang (accommodation is provided).
