  • Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Engineer to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting product development and ensuring engineering standards are met throughout the design, simulation, and certification stages.

    • Design, develop, and improve mechanical products such as air duct, ceiling diffusers, and others using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
    • Work closely with sales and other teams to understand a product’s intended appearance, specifications, and functionality.
    • Applying engineering principles to ensure the strength, safety, and usability of a product.
    • Perform simulation analyses to validate product performance, durability, and compliance.
    • Prepare and manage technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, and reports.
    • Liaise with third-party bodies such as SIRIM and BOMBA for product testing, audits, and certifications.
    • Support prototyping, testing, and implementation of product improvements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (production, QA, and procurement) throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Working closely with manufacturing teams to analyse and optimise the process for mass production.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    <Requirements>
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
    • Min. 3 years of of relevant working experience
    • Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD; experience with simulation tools is a must.

    <Advantageous>
    • Prior experience liaising with SIRIM, BOMBA, or other certification bodies is highly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of product design principles, engineering drawings, and standards.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and project management abilities.

  • Benefit

    Basic salary: RM6,000 - RM8,000

    Fixed handphone allowance: RM80

    • AL: Begin with 12 days (Pro-rated based on joining date)
    • SL: 14 / 18 / 22 days
    • Public holidays: Follow Selangor

    • Mileage and toll: claimable upon receipt
