• Job Description

  • To maintain plant equipment especially to be in the highest reliability and availability by carrying out the preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • To carry out mechanical and E & I activities in the highest safety standard while ensure the safe working environment for the others.
  • To leads and involves work in, such as overhauling / servicing of mechanical and E & I or related equipment.
  • Assists Mechanical Engineer on the reliability activities of assigned areas.
  • Performs sound predictive, proactive and pre-emptive maintenance programs so as to ensure high equipment reliability and performance, optimum resources utilization, reduces maintenance cost and attentive process support.
  • Assists Mechanical Engineer in the preparation of technical reports on finding from preventive, corrective maintenance, failure analysis for future reference, trouble shooting and improvement.
  • Leads and involves in the performance, functioning and maintenance of the entire detection, measuring, inspection and condition monitoring equipment, systems and operation.
  • Lead onsite balancing & alignment activities.
  • Leads and involves in the mill wide rotating equipment condition vibration, online vibration monitoring, lubrication system, oil analysis, static equipment and inspection and maintenance activities so as to ensure compliance to schedule, procedures and statutory requirement.
  • Directs and supervises work of maintenance technicians, contractors and helpers as required.
  • Works from CMMS work-order, production/verbal request, walk down defect-list, drawings and sketches.
  • Leads and participates in the diagnoses and eliminates root cause of complex equipment failures
  • Completes routine paperwork, CMMS-SAP and other computer reporting as required.
  • To leads and participates in diagnoses of equipment vibration failures, analysis and eliminates root cause.
  • To leads and participate in vibration measuring and analysis.
  • To support the operation shift personnel.
  • System sponsor program and monthly report preparation.
  • To follow and practice strictly all the requirements of ISO 14001
  • To carry out any other duties as directed by immediate manager, superintend and supervisor.
  • Able to assist operation team member on the day-to-day activities.
