  【About the Role】
  ABeam Consulting Malaysia is seeking a Senior Consultant or Manager to contribute to the growth of our Financial Services consulting business and the delivery of client engagements in Malaysia and across ASEAN.
  You will work as a business-focused consultant, helping financial institutions structure complex business challenges, develop transformation strategies, and implement practical solutions.
  The role covers business and operational transformation, AI-enabled transformation, Financial Services system implementation, project delivery, and pre-sales. Depending on your experience and project needs, you may also support data governance and regulatory data initiatives.
  Manager-level candidates will additionally be expected to lead projects as a Project Manager or Engagement Manager and drive sales and business development activities.
  
  【Key Responsibilities】
  1. Business Consulting and Transformation
  •Analyze and structure complex business, operational, data, and technology challenges.
  •Define business requirements and develop As-Is and To-Be processes, Target Operating Models, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.
  •Facilitate client interviews and workshops and provide practical, executive-ready recommendations.
  •Support transformation initiatives from strategy and planning through implementation and organizational adoption.
  
  2. Project Delivery
  •Lead or support projects across banking and non-bank finance domains.
  •Coordinate business users, IT teams, vendors, headquarters, and regional stakeholders.
  •Support requirements definition, process and solution design, testing, migration, business readiness, rollout, and post-implementation activities.
  •Manage assigned deliverables, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  
  3. AI-Enabled Business Transformation
  •Identify and assess AI, generative AI, analytics, and automation opportunities for financial services clients.
  •Develop business use cases, PoC plans, business requirements, business cases, and implementation roadmaps.
  •Support business-led validation, benefits assessment, governance, controls, human oversight, and organizational change.
  •Coordinate with data, technology, and implementation specialists to translate business needs into practical solutions.
  This is a business consulting role. Hands-on coding or technical development of AI agents is not required.
  
  4. Data Governance and Regulatory Data Management
  Optional, depending on experience and project requirements
  •Support initiatives related to data governance, data quality, data ownership, metadata management, and data lineage.
  •Contribute to BCBS 239, Key Data Element mapping, and regulatory data management projects.
  •Support the implementation and business adoption of tools such as Collibra and Alteryx.
  •Work with business, risk, finance, data governance, and IT stakeholders to establish practical governance solutions.
  
  5. Pre-Sales and Practice Development
  •Identify client needs and potential consulting opportunities.
  •Support or lead proposal development, including scope, approach, work plan, team structure, and commercial assumptions.
  •Participate in client presentations, workshops, and proposal discussions.
  •Collaborate with ABeam teams across Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, and other ASEAN markets.
  •Coach junior members and contribute to the development of our Financial Services capabilities.
