The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality control and R & D of the products. He will be responsible for on-going development of new systems according to the requirements of our customers and be based at our factory at Port Klang.• Reports to the Technical Assistant Manager / Factory Manager.• Responsible for the quality control and assurance of the Company’s products.• Responsible for maintaining the Quality System related to the Technical Department.• Plans and implements Quality Improvement Projects.• Determines, reports, and recommends corrective actions for the root causes of quality deficiencies and non-conformances.• Designs new formulations and systems.• Provides technical advice on quality matters and supports customers with product usage applications when required.• Tests customers’ finished products as and when required.• Coordinates with the Production Department regarding product requirements and troubleshooting.• Develops suitable quality procedures to minimize rejects.• Troubleshoots customer complaints.• Maintains awareness of the Quality Policy, Objectives, Risks, and their respective controls.

(20%)• Take leadership of mechanical design in automation project. (20%) • Thorough design analysis and optimization of mechanical components including considerations of design for manufacturing and cost. (5%) • Plan and manage mechanical design schedule. (10%) • Conduct design reviews and provide design guidance to junior engineer. (10%) • Interface with customers and functional owners on mechanical design issue. (10%) • Responsible to complete design assembly drawings and details part drawings. (10%) • Checking of drawings and preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM). (5%) • Must prepare to travel local and overseas. (10%) • Be aware of the risks and opportunities related to the job assigned.• Be aware of the needs and expectation of interested party, the consequences of failure and their impact.
