【Job Summary】Our company is currently spearheading a large-scale global organizational restructuring and business integration aimed at elevating our market competitiveness and achieving long-term growth in the electronics trading and technology solution industry. By unifying two industry-leading business entities—one with a historic domestic footprint in automotive-grade semiconductors and component supply, and the other with a pioneering reputation in AI solution architecture, enterprise ICT systems, servers, and high-performance computing—our organization has officially re-emerged as a premiere, integrated global electronics technology distributor. This corporate union goes beyond a consolidation of financial balance sheets. Its core mission is to bridge different organizational cultures, eliminate legacy silos, and merge complementary domain expertise. By pairing hardware distribution lines with modern AI consulting, embedded software engineering, and end-to-end digital transformation (DX) offerings, we are building a holistic supply and solution ecosystem. Across the enterprise, we are standardizing sales workflows through enablement frameworks, expanding digital infrastructure investments, and revamping overall human capital strategies. At the heart of this transformation lies the imperative to establish a unified organizational identity and robust global governance aligning with our expanded footprint. In this context, we are seeking a Global HR Manager to drive our HR integration, policy standardization, and local employee engagement strategies. Based at our regional hub in Malaysia, this leadership position will focus initially on aligning HR frameworks across our primary Southeast Asian operations (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand) as well as India. Looking ahead, as our global footprint expands into key tech hubs, the scope of this role is anticipated to broaden to cover operations across North America, Europe, and East Asia. The primary objective for this position is to champion the rollout, localization, and adoption of unified global HR policies, compensation structures, performance evaluation models, and standardized employment regulations. Working in close coordination with the Global HR department at Group HQ in Japan, you will evaluate legacy terms of employment across entities, reconcile structural differences, and establish a compliant, transparent HR governance framework.Rather than merely distributing administrative guidelines, the ideal candidate must serve as an active change agent and empathetic communicator. You will plan and execute comprehensive employee town halls, briefing sessions, and 1-on-1 feedback consultations. Particular attention will be given to building trust with diverse local teams—especially non-Chinese-speaking employees and multicultural staff—ensuring all employees thoroughly understand the vision, rationale, and career benefits behind the updated HR architecture. If you are a proactive HR professional equipped with cross-cultural communication skills, strong bilingual capabilities, and a passion for leading organizational change on an international stage, this role offers an opportunity to shape the future of our global workforce.【Responsibilities】HR Integration & Policy Standardization:・Lead the harmonization, drafting, and local alignment of employment regulations, handbooks, and labor policies across regional entities (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, and future territories).・Partner directly with Group HQ HR in Japan to adapt, localize, and implement global HR frameworks, including grading systems, compensation bands, performance appraisal tools, and mobility guidelines.Change Management & Internal Communications:・Organize and facilitate company-wide orientation programs, policy rollout presentations, and explanatory town hall meetings for regional management and local staff.・Conduct structured 1-on-1 consultations and focus group sessions to address employee inquiries, alleviate concerns surrounding organizational changes, and build consensus across multi-ethnic, multicultural teams.・Act as a feedback channel between regional employees and executive leadership, gathering operational insights to continually refine HR workflows and employee engagement strategies.Global HR Governance & Expansion:・Support the establishment of unified HR governance standards across Southeast Asia and South Asia, creating a scalable playbook for future regional rollouts in the Americas, Europe, and East Asia.・Oversee local labor law compliance, risk management, and administrative alignment in coordination with local legal advisors and local management teams.・Drive cross-cultural inclusion and team-building initiatives to foster a unified corporate identity and high-performance workplace culture across all overseas offices.
