  • Job Description

    We are seeking a meticulous, resilient, and decisive Senior QC Chemist based in our Bentong Factory to lead our pre-shipment quality assurance operations. In this critical role, you will serve as the final gatekeeper for our natural latex rubber thread products, ensuring all outgoing shipments meet strict dimensional, chemical, and physical performance standards before they reach our global clients. You will operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment that is currently undergoing significant systems transition and modernization.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Pre-Shipment Verification: Conduct comprehensive final quality inspections on finished rubber thread batches prior to shipment dispatch, verifying elasticity, tensile strength, gauge consistency, and chemical stability.
    - Batch Release & Rejection: Serve as the final authority to approve or reject outgoing goods based on strict adherence to international quality standards, internal specifications, and customer-specific requirements.
    - Root Cause Investigation: Investigate the root causes of any off-spec finished products, collaborating directly with the production and compounding engineering teams to implement immediate corrective actions.
    - Documentation & Reporting: Generate and maintain detailed, accurate Certificates of Analysis (CoA), pre-shipment inspection logs, and non-conformance reports.
    - Agile Protocol Development: Adapt and establish new QC protocols to align with new management processes as the factory undergoes ongoing systems reevaluation and rebuilding.
    - Executive Communication: Deliver rapid, data-backed quality assessments directly to top-level management, maintaining composure and providing clear technical answers when urgent shipping or production decisions are required by the CEO.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Education: A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry is strictly required.
    - Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years of proven, hands-on Quality Control (QC) experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial laboratory setting.
    - Industry Background: Candidates must possess a background in rubber or polymer-related industries (e.g., rubber threads, gloves, condoms, rubber compounds). Alternatively, candidates with robust QC experience from polyester or nylon manufacturing companies are strongly encouraged to apply.
