• Job Description

  • Responsible for the overall Quality Assurance Department, reporting directly to the General Manager.
  • Maintaining the company’s ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Implementing the company’s Lean Sigma, AS9100 quality system requirements and ISO 14001.
  • Reviewing customer feedback and using this to inform quality processes and decisions.
  • Ensuring processes meet required standards.
  • Monitoring the ongoing performance and outputs of the quality process.
  • Championing internal quality audits.
  • Directing staff and teams across the business to ensure quality frameworks are implemented.
  • Ensuring all suppliers meet the quality requirements of the company.
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and related specifications, and applying this knowledge in CMM programming and inspection methods.
  • Applying data analysis and statistical aptitude to quality processes.
  • Applying basic machining knowledge in the precision engineering manufacturing field.
  • Ensuring familiarity with quality standards and processes, such as AS9100 and Nadcap.
  • Applying sound knowledge of lean manufacturing, PFMEA, SPC and 6 Sigma.
  • Providing leadership and management to the Quality Assurance team.
  • Communicating effectively with customers, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community, and making effective presentations to senior management.
  • Managing customer relationships and working with internal teams to drive quality objectives.
  • Ensuring quality processes and systems are continuously improved and aligned with company requirements.
  • Maintaining good verbal and written communication and presentable interpersonal skills.
  • Performing duties with a high level of conscientiousness and diligence.
  • Exposure to Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing and Aerospace will be advantageous.
