  Job Summary
  We are looking for a System Engineer (Japanese Speaking) to support the Company's IT systems, infrastructure, and day-to-day technical operations.
  The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining reliable IT services, troubleshooting system-related issues, coordinating with internal users and external IT vendors, and supporting communication and technical coordination with our Japanese counterparts.
  
  This position is suitable for a hands-on IT professional who is able to work independently and communicate effectively in both English and Japanese.
  
  Key Responsibilities
  1. IT Infrastructure & System Support
  • Maintain and support the Company's IT infrastructure, including servers, network systems, computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of IT services.
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
  • Provide technical support to users and ensure IT-related issues are resolved within an appropriate timeframe.
  • Support installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading of IT systems and equipment.
  
  2. System Administration
  • Administer user accounts, access rights, passwords, and system permissions.
  • Maintain IT documentation, system records, network information, and equipment inventories.
  • Perform regular system checks, updates, backups, and preventive maintenance.
  • Assist in ensuring appropriate IT security controls are implemented and maintained.
  • Support data backup, recovery, and business continuity activities.
  
  3. IT Projects & System Implementation
  • Assist in planning, implementing, testing, and maintaining new IT systems and applications.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, consultants, and Japan Headquarters during system implementation.
  • Participate in system enhancement, integration, migration, and upgrade projects.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and provide technical support during system implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, system efficiency, and user experience.
  
  4. Vendor & External Support
  • Liaise with external IT service providers, software vendors, and contractors.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure agreed services and maintenance are properly carried out.
  • Assist in evaluating IT products, services, and solutions based on the Company's requirements.
  • Follow up on technical issues and ensure timely resolution by external vendors.
  
  5. IT Security & Compliance
  • Support implementation and maintenance of IT security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and respond to potential IT security incidents.
  • Ensure users comply with Company IT policies, access controls, and security requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable Company policies and information security requirements.
  
  6. Other Duties
  • Provide technical advice and support to management and relevant departments.
  • Prepare regular IT reports and updates for management.
  • Support IT-related audits and documentation requirements.
  • Perform other IT-related duties and projects as assigned by the Management.
