  • Job Description

    We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planning Engineer / Production Planner who is fluent in Japanese to support our production planning activities and coordinate effectively with our Japanese customers and headquarters.

    Key Responsibilities
    Develop and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery. Coordinate production plans with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Sales departments.

    - Communicate with Japanese customers, suppliers, and headquarters regarding production schedules, order status, and delivery requirements.
    - Analyze production capacity, material availability, and manpower to optimize production efficiency.
    - Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available according to the production plan.
    - Follow up on production progress and resolve scheduling issues promptly.
    - Prepare production reports, forecasts, and planning-related documentation.
    - Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    - At least 1 year of relevant experience in production planning.
    - Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N2/N1 preferred) and English.
    - Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
    - Good analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
    - Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
    - Experience in the printing or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
