    About the Role
    We are looking for a skilled and proactive Software Test Engineer.
    This role is suited for candidates with solid hands-on testing experience who can work independently, handle ambiguous ownership of quality in fast-paced delivery environments.

    Responsibilities:
    - Analyze requirements, user stories, and designs to identify test scenarios, coverage gaps, and risks.
    - Design, review, and execute manual test cases for web-based applications.
    - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
    - Decide and justify which test cases should be automated vs manual.
    - Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
    - Plan and execute performance, load, and stress testing to evaluate system behavior under various conditions.
    - Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
    - Log, track, and manage defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - At least 3-6 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
    - Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, defect lifecycle, and test design techniques.
    - Hands-on experience testing web applications
    - Solid knowledge of SQL backend data validation.
    - Comfortable working in Linux/RHEL environments (log analysis, basic shell commands).
    - Hands-on experience with test automation for web and API testing.
    - Proficiency in automation scripting using Python or similar languages.
    - Experience with UI automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent).
    - Experience in performance, load, and stress testing of web applications.
    - Understanding of performance metrics such as response time, throughput, and error rate.
    - Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    - Ability to handle ambiguous or evolving requirements and work effectively under tight deadlines.
