Job Description
• Design power conversion circuits (PFC, IPM drive, SMPS, gate drive, DC link) for inverter AC systems.
• Perform circuit simulation to validate waveforms, stress points, and thermal performance.
• Conduct worst-case analysis, derating calculations, and protection scheme design.
• Develop and review PCB layout for high-power, high-noise environments:
– creepage/clearance
– EMC suppression
– thermal spreading
– current loop minimization
• Validate prototypes through bench testing, reliability tests, and safety compliance testing.
• Support certification tests (IEC 60335, UL 60730, EMI/EMC standards).
• Collaborate with mechanical team on heat sinks, airflow, and enclosure constraints.
Qualifications
Requirement
- Education Background : Bachelor’s or master’s in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering
- Experience : Min 5–10 years in power circuit design for inverters, motor drives, or HVAC systems
- Require Skill :
o Deep understanding of inverter topologies (single/3-phase), DC bus design,
IGBT/MOSFET switching
o Design of protection circuits (OCP, OVP, OTP), gate driver optimization
o EMI filtering, harmonic suppression, and compliance with IEC/GB standards
o Familiarity with thermal modelling, heatsink selection, derating under stress
o Ability to guide layout for high-voltage safety (creepage, clearance)
o Ideally has experience qualifying products for mass productionEnglish Level
