• Job Description

  We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Production Engineer to join our team at Maruwa. This position will focus primarily on injection moulding operations, with emphasis on machine and mould setup, driving process optimization, product quality, and efficiency improvements across the production floor.
  
  • Lead and oversee daily injection moulding production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and production schedules.
  • Plan, prepare and execute machine setup, mould setup and changeovers to support production requirements and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to injection moulding machines, tools, and processes.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize injection moulding parameters to improve productivity, reduce scrap rates, and ensure consistent product quality.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for production defects and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for regular servicing, calibration, and repairs of moulding machines and tooling.
  • Support the development and qualification of new injection moulding processes, tooling, and materials.
  • Prepare and maintain production documentation, process control sheets, and technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and company policies on the production floor.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and support to production staff and operators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (quality, engineering, R&D) to achieve production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
