  • Job Description

    * Conduct legal support in the company's day today operations and in the implementation of agreements
    * To review and drafting of legal contracts/agreements/documentation to ensure compliance with law and regulatory requirement
    * Company legal document control e;g registration of company official document legal consulting desk & coordinate with law firms in any company
    business related issue. Legal update eg. New Legal, Legal revision
    * Conduct legal research and monitor changes in applicable law and advise the management on the impact of such changes on operations and
    recommended strategies for complaince
    * Coordinating internal audit, risk management, corporate governance activities
    * Ensure governance and adherence to process
    * Serve as document controller for all written procedures, documentation and any records used in the company
    * Collaborate with other departments (e.g Administration & Human Resources) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels
    for investigation and resolution
    * Act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being
    appropriately evaluated, investigate and resolved
    * Monitor the performance of the compliance program and relates activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve its
    * Assist in company secretarial mattes which includes liaising with the company secretary to organize, prepare and collate agendas for
    * Any ad-hoc legal and compliance matters as and when required

    To handle trade compliance matter
    * To support and clarify trade related matters relating to government policies wit government agencies
    * To work and collaborate with sales department in trade compliance matters
    * To ensure trade compliance matters changes is reflected within company procedures
    * To communicate changes in government policies within internal departments
    * Any ad-hoc support trade compliance matters as and when required

  • Requirement

    * At least 3 years related working experience in trading working environment is preferable
    * Knowledge in commercial law, company tax
    * Knowledge on MITI, SIRIM, Custom would be an added advantage
    * Experience to work in multitasking and face spaced support environment
