The Sales Application Engineer is responsible for driving new business development, technical application support, and revenue growth throughout Southeast Asia. This is a semiconductor-first position, with approximately 75-80% of the role focused on developing company's semiconductor business and the remaining 20-25% focused on strategic Industrial and Automotive opportunities.Within the semiconductor market, the Sales Application Engineer will develop relationships with semiconductor manufacturers, wafer fabs, IDMs, foundries, OSAT providers, advanced packaging companies, equipment OEMs, and technology partners. Key applications include wafer backgrinding and thinning, dicing and singulation, dressing, grinding, polishing, advanced packaging, Silicon and SiC wafer processing, and other precision material-removal processes.This is not primarily an account-maintenance position. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong hunter mentality, proactively identifying new customers, applications, projects, and revenue opportunities while expanding existing accounts through cross-selling.
