- Handle day-to-day quantity surveying and commercial activities for assigned construction projects.- Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates and tender documents.- Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.- Prepare tender costing and assist in the evaluation and selection of subcontractors.- Monitor project costs and ensure work is carried out within the approved budget.- Prepare and manage progress claims, interim valuations and payment applications.- Check and evaluate subcontractors' progress claims and supporting documents.- Prepare, evaluate and monitor variation orders and ensure proper cost documentation.- Conduct site measurements and verify quantities and work progress.- Assist in contract administration, including subcontract agreements and commercial documentation.- Prepare cost reports and provide updates on project commercial status.- Assist with final accounts and settlement of outstanding commercial matters.- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams on commercial and QS matters.- Work closely with the Project Manager and site team to monitor project costs, progress and contractual requirements.- Perform other QS-related duties assigned by management.
