1. Planning and Scheduling- Plan, organize, and control the manufacturing process to ensure timely delivery of products, including both inhouse production and third party fabricators.- Manage daily operations of the production floor, including manpower allocation, proper tools and equipment utilization, and production scheduling.- Oversee material planning and ordering to ensure all required materials are available in time for scheduled production activities.2. Quality and Safety Compliance- Ensure adherence to quality control standards, health and safety regulations, and production procedures.- Ensure all products are manufactured according to quality and safety standards.- Ensure equipment is maintained properly and downtime is minimized by collaborating with the maintenance team.4. Cross-Department and External Providers Coordination- Coordinate with departments such as R&D, Design, Sales, Maintenance, Procurement, and Warehouse to ensure smooth operations.- Oversee logistics arrangement.- Proactively engage with fabricators to identify, address, and resolve any issues encountered during production or execution. 5. Cost Control- Manage production costs, control waste, and optimize resource utilization to improve cost efficiency.- Manage material procurement request to prevent costly urgent orders and avoid early purchases that strain cash flow or incur unnecessary storage costs.6. Team Management- Oversee production staffs attendance records and enforce disciplinary measures as per company policy when necessary.- Lead and manage the Quality Control (QC) department, ensuring all inspection, testing, and reporting activities are performed accurately and on time, in alignment with project specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality policies.- Recruit, Lead and motivate the production team to achieve output targets while maintaining high morale and discipline.- Resolve departmental staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved.- Responsible for overseeing subordinates to ensure they fulfill their assigned responsibilities and achieve expected performance standards.- Conduct performance evaluations, training, and development for production staffs. 7. Reporting and Documentation- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.- Ensure all documents, including photographs and related files, are properly stored and organized on the server, and can be accessed promptly when needed.8. Ad Hoc Duties- Respond to and assist with interdepartmental requests to ensure smooth coordination and workflow.- Undertake Ad Hoc tasks and any other duties as assigned by the company from time to time, as deemed necessary to support the business operations.
