- Lead and manage NPI projects from concept through production readiness.- Work with design, quality, production, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability and seamless product launch.- Interpret and review technical drawings, BOMs and customer specifications.- Support DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and provide feedback to design teams for sheet metal components and assemblies.- Develop and maintain project timelines, track deliverables, and report status to stakeholders.- Coordinate prototyping, testing, and validation of new products.- Define and document work instructions, routing sheets, and process flow for new products.- Support the transition from prototype to production, including tooling, fixtures, and machine setup.- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the NPI process.- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.- Maintain close communication with customers and internal teams to manage change requests and feedback.- Support cost estimation and quoting activities for new projects.
