• Responsible for preparing import and export documents for finished goods and raw materials (e.g., commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin), ensuring compliance with Malaysian customs and international trade regulations.• Follow up on customs declaration submissions, coordinate clearance procedures, and handle exceptions caused by documentation issues (e.g., customs inspection, supplementary documents).• Liaise with freight forwarders to obtain shipping quotes, coordinate booking, and monitor cargo transportation status.• Verify freight forwarder billing using Excel functions for data comparison to ensure cost accuracy.• Prepare and issue “Shipping Notification” forms to synchronize with the warehouse and commercial teams.• Track the end-to-end shipping process from dispatch to delivery, promptly address issues such as delays or cargo damage, and keep relevant parties updated on progress.• Proficient in using SAP or customs-related systems to maintain import/export master data and monitor SAP posting status.• Regularly generate logistics cost analysis reports to optimize transport plans and reduce overall costs.• Any ad-hoc tasks as per assigned by manager.
