【Cameron Highland】Assistant Agricultural Operations Manager (Future Site Leader)ID:60507
5,000 MYR ~ 6,000 MYRPahangJob Description
【Job Summary】As an emerging global leader in the agricultural technology (AgTech) sector, our organization is dedicated to redefining the future of sustainable farming and food security. We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and forward-thinking Senior Agronomic Success Lead (Future Production Site Manager) to join our rapidly growing operations in the scenic and temperate region of Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. This is a foundational leadership opportunity designed specifically for an ambitious professional who aims to fast-track their career into full-scale organizational management while remaining deeply connected to field-level agricultural innovation. The successful candidate will serve as the primary bridge between our advanced intellectual property in crop breeding and the local agricultural ecosystem. Agriculture today faces unprecedented disruptions due to macro-environmental shifts and unpredictable global weather patterns. To counter these challenges, our firm deploys a revolutionary business model that departs entirely from traditional seed-selling structures. Instead of merely distributing agricultural inputs, we cultivate deeply integrated, vertically aligned partnerships with local contract farmers. We supply them with climate-resilient, high-yielding proprietary crop varieties, deliver continuous world-class agronomic guidance, and guarantee the buy-back of 100% of their premium produce. This produce is then distributed across high-end domestic and international luxury export channels. In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with the dual responsibility of expanding our network of contract growers and optimizing the production efficiency of our existing farming partners. You will spend significant time in the field, analyzing crop data, monitoring plant health, and designing proactive mitigation strategies against pests, diseases, and climate anomalies. Beyond agronomy, this role serves as the ultimate incubator for future executive leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing post-harvest operations, optimizing the supply chain from the farm gate to the final delivery center, and directly managing production volume forecasting to meet the soaring demand for high-quality fruits across Southeast Asia. Additionally, you will lead the company's own research and development farms, managing on-site cultivation teams and shaping an inclusive, collaborative organizational culture. We are looking for an individual who combines technical agricultural competence with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. You will work closely with diverse internal and external stakeholders, requiring a high degree of emotional intelligence, cultural adaptability, and entrepreneurial drive. This position offers a rare combination of technical autonomy, operational leadership, and clear strategic direction. If you are passionate about agricultural transformation, thrive in fast-paced startup environments, and want to grow into a senior executive who shapes the long-term landscape of sustainable AgTech in Southeast Asia, this role is tailored for you.【Responsibilities】・Key Responsibilities (In Order of Priority)New Partner Acquisition: Identify, evaluate, and recruit motivated local farmers to establish long-term contract growing partnerships, expanding our regional production footprint.・Relationship Management: Build high-touch, trust-based relationships with existing contract farmers, ensuring alignment with quality benchmarks and corporate objectives.・Agronomic Guidance & Support: Provide hands-on cultivation management and technical guidance to contract farmers to maximize crop yield, flavor profiles, and aesthetic standards.※Additional Responsibilities・Production Volume Forecasting: Conduct data-driven analysis to predict weekly and monthly harvest volumes, designing effective counterstrategies to mitigate risks when volume fluctuations are anticipated.・Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Oversee operations from post-harvest collection through processing, packing, and final delivery to ensure maximum freshness and minimal post-harvest loss.・Company Farm Management: Supervise daily cultivation, workforce planning, and operational processes at the company’s dedicated agricultural facility in Cameron Highlands.・Team & Organizational Management: Mentor, lead, and develop local agricultural teams, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with international standards.・Pest & Disease Mitigation: Design and implement proactive pest and disease control protocols across all partner farms to minimize crop losses and maintain plant health.

1. Job SummaryAs a PMO Consulting Analyst / Business Transformation Associate, you will join an elite, agile boutique advisory firm specializing in large-scale enterprise resource planning (ERP) modernization and end-to-end supply chain management (SCM) transformations. This role offers an unprecedented opportunity to work alongside industry legends—executives who have previously served as executive vice presidents and senior leaders at top-tier global accounting networks, major European technology consultancies, and Tier-1 Japanese systems integration conglomerates. Despite operating as a high-caliber, lean team of elite practitioners, our firm possesses deep client relationships that allow us to bypass traditional multi-tiered sourcing and secure prime, direct advisory mandates for multi-million and multi-billion dollar transformation projects. These initiatives are spearheaded by global manufacturing giants and multinational financial institutions restructuring their international delivery networks across the Asia-Pacific region. In this capacity, you will serve as the strategic right hand to the client’s executive board, steering committee, and department heads. Large-scale enterprise transformations frequently encounter operational volatility, misalignment between external system integrators and internal business groups, and unforeseen timeline extensions. Your core responsibility is to establish a rigorous Project Management Office (PMO) structure that serves as the single source of truth for the entire organization. You will actively engage with diverse business units to map operational complexities, monitor program risks, analyze delivery bottlenecks, and translate raw data into clear executive insights. You will work under the direct mentorship of seasoned engagement managers, gaining exposure to complex global business design, enterprise technology roadmaps, and cross-border project management methodologies that will rapidly accelerate your professional trajectory in management consulting. This role requires a highly analytical mindset, exceptional documentation capabilities, and strong communication skills. You are not merely tracking tasks on a spreadsheet; you are interpreting the health of a massive corporate evolution, ensuring that business processes are systematically aligned with the strategic vision of the client’s leadership. If you thrive in high-stakes environments, possess a deep intellectual curiosity regarding corporate operations, and desire to learn directly from the master builders of Asia's consulting industry, this position provides the ideal platform for your professional advancement.2. Responsibilities・Project Management Office (PMO) Framework Management: Establish, maintain, and optimize comprehensive PMO frameworks, governance structures, and tracking mechanisms to ensure multi-layered enterprise transformation initiatives remain strictly aligned with approved scope, budget, and timeline constraints.・Cross-Departmental Alignment & Progress Analysis: Proactively interview departmental leads, technical track owners, and business users across global entities to consolidate project health statuses, identify critical bottlenecks, analyze variance in delivery schedules, and visualize structural risks via advanced reporting matrices.・Business Process Mapping & Optimization: Conduct deep-dive analysis of legacy operational workflows across supply chain, financial accounting, and production operations, translating qualitative field data into highly organized, formalized business process flowcharts (e.g., "As-Is" vs. "To-Be" blueprints).・High-Impact Executive Documentation: Draft, refine, and compile sophisticated steering committee decks, strategic executive briefing notes, formalized meeting minutes, and dynamic risk/issue logs under the guidance of consulting managers, ensuring clarity and precision for C-suite distribution.・Vendor and System Integrator Oversight: Assist client leadership in reviewing deliverables submitted by external IT vendors and tier-1 system integrators, validating that operational requirements are accurately represented within system configurations.
