  Job Purpose
  The QEMS / QMR Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's Quality & Environmental Management System (QEMS) and acts as the Quality Management Representative (QMR).
  
  The position will ensure that company's management systems remain compliant with applicable ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS9100 requirements, as well as relevant customer and regulatory requirements.
  
  The role will work closely with Management, Production, Process Engineering, QAQC, Purchasing and other departments to strengthen quality discipline, reduce risks and drive continual improvement.
  
  Key Responsibilities
  1. QEMS / QMR Management
  - Overall responsibility for maintaining and improving the company's QEMS.
  - Ensure effective implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS9100 requirements.
  - Monitor the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and identify areas for improvement.
  - Establish, review and update quality policies, procedures, manuals and relevant documentation.
  - Ensure proper control of documented information and quality records.
  - Report QEMS performance, risks and improvement opportunities to Top Management.
  
  2. Internal & External Audits
  - Plan and coordinate internal audits and management system audits.
  - Lead preparation for certification, surveillance and recertification audits.
  - Coordinate corrective actions arising from internal, external and customer audits.
  - Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure effective and timely closure.
  - Ensure audit findings are properly investigated and root causes are addressed.
  
  3. Customer & Regulatory Requirements
  - Ensure customer-specific quality requirements are incorporated into relevant company processes.
  - Review and communicate applicable customer requirements to relevant departments.
  - Support customer audits and quality system assessments.
  - Monitor changes in applicable standards, regulatory requirements and customer requirements.
  
  4. Quality Improvement & Risk Management
  - Drive continual improvement initiatives across the organization.
  - Promote root cause analysis, corrective action and preventive action (CAPA).
  - Strengthen risk-based thinking and process-based management.
  - Monitor recurring quality issues and ensure effective corrective actions.
  - Work with relevant HODs to establish measurable improvement actions.
  
  5. Quality Awareness & Training
  - Develop and conduct training related to QMS, ISO/AS9100 requirements and quality awareness.
  - Guide department heads and employees in understanding their QEMS responsibilities.
  - Promote a culture of quality, discipline, ownership and continual improvement.
  
  6. Management Review & Performance Monitoring
  - Coordinate Management Review Meetings.
  - Prepare QEMS performance reports, audit results, customer feedback, non-conformities, corrective actions and improvement activities.
  - Monitor quality objectives and KPIs.
  - Escalate significant quality risks and system issues to Management.
  
  7. Coordination with QAQC / Production / Engineering
  - Work closely with QAQC to ensure the company's quality system supports effective production quality control.
  - Ensure clear responsibilities between QEMS/QMR, QAQC, Production and Process Engineering.
  - Support Process Engineering and Production in resolving systemic quality issues.
  - Ensure lessons learned and corrective actions are incorporated into the relevant management system processes.
