Job Description
In collaboration with the Japanese Plant Manager, you will lead the overall daily management of factory operations, focusing primarily on local staff, including production lines, quality control, and labor management.
1. On-Site & Organizational Management (Core Responsibility)
Local Staff Management: Handle daily labor management, guidance, and motivation for factory staff (approx. 60–100 production line workers and operators).
Team Building & Talent Development: Develop next-generation leaders and operators, and establish efficient team structures.
Bridge with Japanese Management: Understand the management policies and manufacturing strategies of the Japanese Plant Manager, acting as a bridge to align and implement them on the shop floor.
2. Production Management
Production Planning & Execution: Manage manufacturing schedules and production lines according to delivery deadlines and order volumes.
Yield Improvement & Cost Reduction: Propose and execute process improvements to minimize material loss and optimize production efficiency in paint and construction materials manufacturing.
Inventory & Material Management: Optimize raw material procurement (chemical materials, etc.) and finished product inventory.
3. Quality Assurance & Health, Safety, and Environment (QA/QC & HSE)
Maintain Quality Assurance Standards: Ensure compliance with product quality specifications (water-based paints, textured high-design coatings, etc.), investigate root causes of defects, and formulate preventive measures.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management: Oversee occupational safety and health standards, enforce environmental management, mandate safety compliance, prevent accidents, and instruct on the proper handling of dust and chemical substances.
4. Operational Improvement (5S & Kaizen Activities)
5S Promotion: Drive 5S initiatives (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across the factory floor.
Kaizen Leadership: Lead continuous improvement (KAIZEN) activities to review and optimize manufacturing workflows.
Qualifications
Requirement
【Must】
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related Engineering field.
- At least 10 years of experience in plant management or production management within the manufacturing industry .
- Proven team management experience (people management skills) with a track record of leading and unifying local staff from diverse backgrounds.

Salary: RM10,000 - 13,000
