  • Job Description

    - Process Optimization & Innovation: Analyze current manufacturing processes, workflows, and equipment layouts to identify inefficiencies, proposing and implementing advanced production technologies to enhance cycle times and reduce waste.

    - Project Management: Lead production technology projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgeting, equipment sourcing, installation, testing, and commissioning.

    - Equipment Specification & Sourcing: Draft detailed technical specifications for new machinery, tooling, and fixtures; collaborate with procurement to evaluate global vendors and conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT).

    - Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Provide high-level technical expertise and root cause analysis for chronic or complex equipment breakdowns, process deviations, and engineering bottlenecks.

    - Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Establish, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, maintenance manuals, and engineering drawings (CAD).

    - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime during technology transitions, and collaborate with QA to ensure all new technologies comply with safety and quality standards.

    - Capacity Planning & Layout Design: Design and optimize plant and production line layouts utilizing lean manufacturing principles to maximize space utilization, ergonomics, and material flow.

    - Cost Reduction Initiatives: Conceptualize and execute capital expenditure (CapEx) projects aimed at energy conservation, material savings, and overall manufacturing cost reduction.

    - Training & Mentorship: Conduct technical training and workshops for engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and safe machine operations.

    - Compliance & Safety: Ensure all newly introduced production equipment and technologies comply strictly with local occupational safety and health regulations (DOSH/OSHA) and environmental standards

Qualifications

    - Having Degree or Diploma
    - Having 5 years of working experience specializing in production technology, manufacturing engineering, or automation within an industrial manufacturing environment.
