    3. Creating schedules: The production planner must create production schedules that ensure that materials, equipment and manpower are available when needed. They must also factor in potential delays or unexpected events, such as equipment breakdowns or production delays.
    4. Managing inventory levels: The production planner must manage inventory levels to ensure that the organization has sufficient stock to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory costs. They must track inventory levels and ensure that production processes are aligned with inventory needs.
    5. Coordinating with suppliers: The production planner must coordinate with suppliers to ensure that materials and components are available when needed. They must monitor supplier performance and work with suppliers to address any issues or concerns.
