  • Job Description

    • Strategic Procurement Leadership: Develop and lead the company's procurement strategy to optimize cost savings, ensure quality, and manage supplier performance in alignment with business objectives.
    • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring long-term partnerships and favorable terms.
    • Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead high-level negotiations for supplier contracts, pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements to achieve optimal value.
    • Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while ensuring that procurement activities support overall business objectives.
    • Risk Management: Develop strategies to mitigate procurement risks, such as supply disruptions, price volatility, or poor supplier performance.
    • Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure procurement practices align with ethical, environmental, and regulatory standards, promoting sustainability across the supply chain.
    • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a high-performance culture and building procurement capabilities within the organization.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize procurement data and KPIs to guide decision-making and continuously improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Oversee the evaluation and performance management of suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as finance, operations, and engineering to ensure procurement strategies align with company needs, budgets, and long-term goals.
    • To ensure that the processes are delivering their intended outputs.
    • Reporting on the performance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and on opportunities for improvement in particular to Quality Management Representative (QMR), Operation Director and/or Managing Director (MD).
    • To ensure that integrity of the Quality Management System (QMS) is maintained when the changes to the Quality Management System (QMS) are planned and implemented.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    • Professional Degree or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
    • Minimum 5 to 10 years of working experience in technical purchasing field with at least 5 to 7 years in senior leadership
    • Strong management and leadership skills.
    • Strong knowledge in price development.
    • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of product market.
    • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, self-motivated, results oriented and a team leader.
    • Excellent financial acumen with experience in cost control and budgeting.
    • Knowledgeable in ERP system.
    • Analytical, energetic and effective in problem solving with a sense of urgency.
    • In-depth understanding of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Experience with sustainability initiatives and compliance with ethical sourcing standards.
    • Familiarity with global sourcing and international supplier management.
    • Certifications: Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CPM, CPSM, CIPS) is preferred.
