  • Job Description

    1. Project Leadership:
    • Collaborate with the Manager to plan, execute, and oversee multiple R&D projects simultaneously.
    • Lead project teams and guide them to achieve project objectives and milestones.
    2. Product Development:
    • Contribute to the development of new personal care products by researching and testing various formulations and ingredients.
    • Improve existing products through formulation enhancements and performance optimization.
    3. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay up to date with local and international regulations and standards related to personal care products.
    • Ensure product formulations comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.
    4. Team Development:
    • Mentor and guide junior R&D team members, providing technical expertise and training.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to encourage creativity and professional growth.
    5. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of R&D activities, including formulation data, experiments, and results.
    • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to the Manager -R&D and other relevant stakeholders.
    6. Cost Management:
    • Assist in managing the R&D budget and resources effectively to achieve project goals while controlling costs.
    7. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Business Development team to understand consumer needs and preferences.
    • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality raw materials and ingredients for product development.
    • Collaborate with Production to ensure scalable manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    REQUIREMENTS:
    ༄ Education Background : Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, or related field
    ༄ Min. 2 - 3 years of working experience
    ༄ Able to understand, speak, and write in Japanese language is a must

    ADVATANGE:
    ༄ Possess JLPT certificate as supporting document
    ༄ Strong knowledge of personal care formulations, as well as experience with industry regulations and standards (GMP, ISO, Halal, and Cosmetic Guidelines).
    ༄ Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques.
    ༄ Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
    ༄ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams and external partners.
    ༄ A passion for innovation, creativity, and a deep interest in staying current with industry trends and advancements.
    ༄ Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical challenges.
    ༄ Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
